How does kitten reservation work?
Get in touch by email or phone — we'll talk through what you're looking for, and confirm the reservation once a partial deposit is paid.
What's the deposit, and is it refundable?
The deposit is part of the kitten's price, paid to reserve them. It's generally non-refundable if you change your mind, but we always talk things through individually.
When can I take my kitten home?
Kittens go to their new homes no earlier than 13 weeks old — by then they're vaccinated, dewormed, and well socialized.
Will my kitten be vaccinated and health-checked?
Yes — every kitten receives 2 vaccinations, is dewormed, and is checked by a veterinarian before leaving for their new home.
Can I come and meet the kittens in person?
Absolutely! We'd love to have you visit us in Vežaičiai — just arrange a time with us beforehand.
Do you deliver kittens?
We discuss this individually — we can meet halfway, or suggest a trusted transport option.
Will the kitten be litter-trained?
Yes, all our kittens are raised at home and already used to the litter box from an early age.
Do you sign a sales contract?
Yes, we sign a contract with every new owner outlining both sides' responsibilities.
What does EX1 mean?
EX1 is the top show grade: "Excellent", ranked first among the cats in its class that received that grade. The judge compares each cat with the breed standard, so EX1 means the cat matches it very well.
What are CAC, CACIB and CACP, and how are champion titles earned?
CAC and CACIB are certificates a judge awards for a very close match to the breed standard. A CAC can also be won at national shows, while a CACIB only at international ones. They are collected over time: under WCF rules, three CACs earn the Champion title, and three CACIBs, one of them won in another country or region, earn the International Champion title. Kittens up to 6 months old earn separate certificates (CACP); three of them earn the Kitten Champion title.
What do NOM BIS and Best Kitten mean?
NOM BIS means the cat was nominated for the Best in Show competition, i.e. made it among the best entries of the show. Best Kitten is the award for the best kitten, and "I" means first place.
What are WCF and LGAC?
WCF (World Cat Federation) is one of the largest feline organizations in the world (more than 540 clubs in forty countries), whose rules govern cat registration and judging at shows. LGAC (the Lithuanian Pet Owners Center) is the WCF representative in Lithuania: it organizes international cat shows, issues pedigree documents for purebred kittens and advises novice breeders. Our cattery belongs to LGAC.
What are the WCF title levels?
According to the WCF title table, the levels are: Kitten Champion (kittens up to 10 months, 3 certificates, CACP or CACJ), Champion (3 CAC, which can also be won at national shows), International Champion (3 CACIB, one of them in another country or region), Grand International Champion (3 CAGCIB), then Europa/Continental Champion and the highest, World Champion (3 certificates from three countries, one on another continent). So Champion is the first adult champion level, not an international or world title.
